Leighton Gerdes is a Financial Advisor at Graymont Investment Services, where he channels his passion for helping others into assisting individuals, families, and businesses in creating custom-tailored financial plans for their present and future needs.
Prior to joining Graymont Investment Services, Leighton developed his foundational financial skills as a universal banker at a local bank in Dubuque, Iowa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in financial planning and wealth management from Loras College. Leighton holds the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses, along with Illinois Life and Accident & Health insurance licenses and is actively working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.
Outside of the office, Leighton enjoys boating, snowmobiling, weightlifting, hiking, traveling, and attending concerts. He ran cross country in college and is an avid slalom water skier. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and going on adventures with his dog.
